Fiber Technician

Who are you:

We are looking for someone who is technically inclined. You should be solution-oriented and service-minded towards customers and partners as well as your colleagues. The job requires that you are meticulous and ambitious and always want to perform at your best. In the field, we often work in teams, but the job may also involve working independently.

You will have the opportunity to learn fiber work from the ground up with us. You will learn to blow and weld fiber, perform installations, cable pulling, troubleshooting, OTDR measurements, etc. So if you are observant and curious and have a desire to learn and develop, you will go far with that!

Optotech Infrastructure Sweden AB is an IT infrastructure company from Varberg specializing in fiber construction with over 20 years of experience, and we are a good and friendly team. Our vision is to always try to exceed ourselves, maintain a very high standard on the projects we are involved in and responsible for, and take the time to listen to our customers to offer solutions that exceed their expectations - AND to have fun along the way!

Education & experience:

• Complete high school education.
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Requirement for a B driver's license.
• Experience in installation, service, and maintenance of fiber is an advantage.

Other information:

• Start: By agreement.
• Location: You will be based at our office in Varberg, but the work will primarily be carried out in Germany.
• Employment: Permanent position with a 6-month probationary period.
• Working hours: The work is mainly scheduled on weekdays, but it depends on the project and work location. Abroad, we work in periods with alternating time off.
• Salary: Monthly salary by agreement.
